The mission of Safer Northern Trust is to purposefully build an all-inclusive and empowered community where human rights are respected and which leaves peacefully among themselves and with its neighbours.

Objectives
The strategic objectives of Safer Northern Trust are:
Strategic Objective 1: To establish a well-coordinated and effective strategy for addressing conflicts and promoting peace & security.
Strategic Objective 2: To enhance climate change resilience through improved livelihood systems, rain water harvesting environmental and natural resource management.
Strategic Objective 3: To promote healthy living, women and girls empowerment and community empowerment through education.
Strategic Objective 4: To ensure good governance, rule of law and citizen participation in political, economic and social development.
Strategic Objective 5: To ensure that our strategic themes and outcomes are achieved through the development of relevant capacities and skills for Safer Northern Trust, CSOs and partners in order to provide civic space for effective engagement.
Strategic Objective 6: To enhance sustainable use of water resource and contribute to the community and government efforts in availing water and sanitation.
Strategic Objective 7: To ensure the communities can grow enough food for their use and have sustainable livelihoods.
